| Archives
The archives of the church serve as the repository for records created by and pertaining to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Archive records include, but are not limited to Session minutes, registers, records of Trustees, the Deaconate, the Treasurer, and congregational committees, photographs, sound and video recordings, and minister’s papers that relate to church business. Records of a private nature are specifically excluded from collection and inclusion in the archives. Historical Holdings Historical holdings are limited to those items that in some way illustrate or contribute to the understanding of the history of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Historical holdings include examples of hymnals and bibles used in the church, communion ware, church furnishings, banners and other memorabilia. The Historical Committee is responsible for preserving and securing the contents of the archives and historical holdings. Preservation includes proper housing and storage in addition to adherence to the Book of Order concerning preservation of records. An appropriate area will be set aside to safeguard the archives and historical holdings. When applicable and financially feasible, archives and historical holdings will be periodically microfilmed.
