Music With A Cause

Music with Cause proceeds support local charities. To date the series has benefited the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS). Every Citizen Has Opportunities (ECHO), Boulder Crest Retreat, Loudoun Hunger Relief and Mobile Hope among others. Art auctions take place at most concerts featuring local artists such as Amy Walton, Mary Parker and David Norton. 

Sunday, March 3 at 4pm – Moonlit in the Sun

The Music with a Cause concert series will present Moonlit in the Sun, in a “Corona Concert” at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. This concert will feature their string trio with piano and proceeds will benefit Homes for Heroes. The program will feature the exciting string trio by Ernst von Dohnanyi; an enchanting work by Mexican composer, Manuel Ponce; and a lovely trio sonata by the incomparable Johann Sebastian Bach. Founded in 2006, Moonlit in the Sun has been delighting audiences in Loudoun County through their warm and inviting performances. They love making audiences a part of the performance through laughter.   St. Andrew is located at 711 W. Main Street in Purcellville. Home for Heroes provides housing or emergency financial assistance to American Heroes such as; firefighters law enforcement, military, healthcare workers and teachers. Tickets are $20 at the door and can be purchased in advance at Eventbrite (search for music with a cause).
