Music With A Cause

Music with Cause proceeds support local charities. To date the series has benefited the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS). Every Citizen Has Opportunities (ECHO), Boulder Crest Retreat, Loudoun Hunger Relief and Mobile Hope among others. Art auctions take place at most concerts featuring local artists such as Amy Walton, Mary Parker and David Norton.

Saturday, April 27 at 7:00pm – Loudoun Chorale

The Music with a Cause concert series in conjunction with Loudoun Chorale in their spring concert the Loudoun Chorale will celebrate the eclectic and glorious American choral tradition. The concert will be composed of pieces by many composers who each bring a different perspective and voice to the American choral repertoire. The concert begins with the folk tune arrangements of Aaron Copland and Alice Parker and then moves to the illuminating African American Spiritual arrangements of Moses Hogan. And of course what program of American music would be complete without the sounds of vocal jazz and the passionate music of Leonard Bernstein? You don’t want to miss this poignant and powerful program of music. “
The proceeds from this concert will benefit local Every Citizen Has an Opportunity (ECHO).
St. Andrew is located at 711 W. Main Street in Purcellville. Every Citizen Has an Opportunity empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve their optimal level of personal, social and economic success.   Tickets are $20 at the door and can be purchased in advance at Eventbrite (search for music with a cause).
