"Let us sing unto the Lord, let us make a joyful noise..."
The music program at St. Andrew confirms a sense of fellowship and community as we sing and play together the great hymns of the church.
The program uses this art form to create atmosphere, heighten a mood, and strengthen the attributes of awe, mystery, penitence, and praise necessary for a successful worship experience.
Music in the church has one great purpose: "Soli Deo Gloria - To God Alone Be The Glory," a return in kind for God's gift of beauty to humankind.
Through inspired music, we praise and pray and preach. With the prophet Isaiah, we seek to answer the question, "Who will go for us?" "Here am I, Lord, send me!"

New Song offers a variety of eclectic music that ranges from old-time gospel to contemporary praise and folk. In addition to
accoustic stringed instruments, New Song also includes a sampling of more traditional hymns as well as full band performances in its
varried repetoir. New Song performs during both worship services on the second Sunday of each month.
The Praise Experience point of contact: Anthony Semiao
The Praise Experience formerly known as the Saturday Night Band, is one of St. Andrew's talented musical groups.
This band strives to assist in the leadership of the St. Andrew Contemporary worship service by leading the congregation in songs focused on the theme of the service.
Inviting others to join the worship of Jesus Christ through song is a main goal of The Praise Experience.
Rehearsals are every Wednesday from 7 to 8 PM at the church. The band performs at the Contemporary Worship Service at St. Andrew every Sunday morning at 8:50AM
with the exception of the second Sunday of the month when New Song performs.
