| Nominates
persons to serve as elders, deacons, trustees, and five members of the
congregation-at-large to serve on the Nominating Committee. This is a
committee of the congregation functioning under the Session.
Duties of the Nominating Committee:
1. To nominate to the congregation at its annual meeting sufficient
numbers of persons to fill the new terms of service of the Session, the
Board of Deacons, and the Board of Trustees, and any persons needed to
fill unexpired terms.
2. To nominate persons from the congregation-at-large to serve on the
next Nominating Committee for the following year. Currently five persons
from the congregation-at-large are necessary to meet this requirement.
