| The Pastor is the Head of Staff of St.
Andrew Presbyterian Church, but the Personnel Committee serves as an
oversight committee in any matters related to staffing. Each staff
position has a written job description which is an integral part of the
annual performance review. The Personnel Committee makes recommendations
for compensation or salary changes, based upon its completed annual
performance review of all staff.
The Personnel Committee also serves as a grievance review board for all staff. The Committee consists of five to seven members including the Clerk of Session who is the Chair. The Pastor, as Head of Staff, is responsible for the daily direction of staff activities.
