Wednesday Afterschool Cafe(WAC) and Family Programming Night – Each Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm

Each Wednesday afternoon and evening, children and youth are welcomed to share in experiences of fellowship, dinner and Christian nurture.  The WAC program is open for students in kindergarten through grade 12 who live in our western Loudoun communities.  Bus and vehicle transportation is provided from the schools to St. Andrew!  Each Wednesday session includes times for snack and homework as well as Bible Study, recreation and worship skills. Families are invited to come and relax and share a meal at 5:45 with the children, youth and church community.  It’s a wonderful way to take a midweek break and enjoy your neighbors!

Teen Mission
Our high school youth organize and lead a monthly mission project (2nd Sunday of each month) to DC with Teens Opposing Poverty to serve our homeless neighbors.  This mission project is open to all rising 7th graders and adults. Our youth also serve on mission trips in the summer.  Past trips include Progresso, Belize, Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota and Steubenville, Ohio.  Our teens come back transformed by their experience and the relationships they formed.

Fellowship, Retreats and Fun
Tweens, Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers come together for fellowship opportunities throughout the year like movie outings, mini golf and family bonfires.  Retreats are a particular focus for our older youth.  Confirmation students retreat a minimum of 3 times of year.  Our high school youth retreat or overnight two times per year.  Each year in March we join with our sister church, Bethany UMC, for a 30 Hour Famine for World Vision.
