Next Concert: Brian Ganz –  Date: January 26 at 4:00PM
Classical pianist Brian Ganz returns to Music with a Cause on Sunday, January 26th at 4pm at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Purcellville. The program will feature the theme “Frédéric Chopin and the Growth of Genius,” with Ganz’s signature “musical gardening.” He will demonstrate Chopin’s growth as a composer by showing how early mazurkas, waltzes, polonaises and other works contain the seed of his genius, followed by mature examples of the same genres: Chopin’s genius in full bloom. The recital will benefit the Loudoun Free Clinic.
Tickets are $20 at the door and can be purchased in advance at Eventbrite (search for music with a cause).
