Today is going to be a great day! And so will tomorrow. And the day after…. Some of this greatness will happen to you. Rejoice!

Nothing of note is going to happen today. Or tomorrow. Or the day after…. Just routine, this is how it goes. Rejoice anyway!

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Phil 4: 4

In everything, we are called to find joy in our relationship with God. In this way, knowing that we are never separated from God’s love and presence, we can find a peace that sustains us through the highs and lows of life’s journey. Strife cannot be avoided. Success cannot be forced. Mundane existence can be responded to with despair or hope. The one constant is the joy of knowing our Creator is our constant companion through Jesus Christ.

God encourages us to make this good news known by:

Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.         Phil 4: 5-9
