It’s a blessing to give than to receive! The Mission Committee invites you to join them as we support those in need in our communities. Here are ways you can help!
Please send your donation extended to November 27th.
It’s Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter Christmas tree time again, but as with so many things this year, we have to get creative. Because of the pandemic, LAWS is asking us to supply gift cards instead of the actual gifts. This minimizes interactions for everyone even though it seems less personal – less personal for us, but the needs are still there for these families.
Since we don’t have the gift requests yet, the Mission Committee is asking you to just donate the money you would have spent on a gift for these families.
The Committee will purchase the gift cards with your donations.
Send your donations to the church designated for ‘LAWS Christmas’. Mail checks to:
711 West Main Street, Purcellville, VA 20132
Give Online: – (in the “Notes” enter “LAWS Christmas”)
If you would like to send a card or note, LAWS will deliver them, but there cannot be any identifying information on it.
2020 Generosity Drive
You are invite you to prayerfully complete this card as a way of articulating your commitments to Saint Andrew in 2020. You can communicate those commitments to the church in one of three ways:
The following days are open November 24(Pick up produce) & 25
December 8th & 9th and 22nd and 23rd
Looking for ways to give back this Holiday season why not come out with the family to help bag and/or distribute food to the food insecure in our community.
Food is distributed twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays/Wednesdays
Bagging of produce is on Tuesdays 1:30 – 3:00pm.
(Those with younger kids in school can opt to do the bagging anytime after 2:30pm on Tuesdays. It usually takes about an hour to get the produce bagged)
For many years, we at St. Andrew Presbyterian have had our own gift shop where we could give a donation to a local, national, or international charity and receive a gift card in recognition of the donation.  We could then give that card to a family member, a friend, a favorite teacher, etc. to let them know that we are thinking about them and recognizing their interest in helping the world be a better place for all of us.  With the distancing requirements of Covid-19, we can not have our traditional gift market in the church entry way, but we can still have a virtual gift market.  Below are a variety of opportunities for you to pursue.
